Under the USAID-funded OSRA (meaning “Family”) program, implemented by Pathfinder
International in collaboration with the Egyptian Ministry of Social Solidarity (MoSS), a
comprehensive 1st Year of Marriage Training Manual was developed to support engaged and newly married couples in building a successful marital foundation. Our interventions focused on mainstreaming a disability inclusion lens throughout the manual to ensure its relevance for couples with disabilities. This involved assessing the content against best practices, identifying gaps, and providing technical recommendations. Additionally, we developed interactive, disability-inclusive activities and supported the adaptation of both the manual and the trainer’s guide to enhance accessibility and inclusivity for diverse audiences.
