Empowering Abilities Program
In collaboration with the Egyptian German Technical Academy (EGTA) and GIZ Egypt, we
facilitated the recruitment of 15+ Persons with Disabilities for a vocational training program. We delivered two workshops in Entrepreneurship and Employability Skills to advance trainees’ readiness for the labor market. We also executed a Training of Trainers (TOT) for EGTA staff on Disability Equality Concepts and Inclusive Teaching Methods, supported by coaching activities to enhance the accessibility of EGTA’s physical facilities and digital content throughout the delivery of CNC and Basic Automation training. The program concluded with a graduation ceremony, attended by the former Egyptian Minister of Electricity, Dr. Mohamed Shaker, in the EGT Academy, celebrating trainees’ achievements.
